To Abstain is to choose to note votes on a particular matter. If a delegate is to abstain it generally means that the member state does not support a resolution enough to vote in favour for it but does not dislike the resolution so therefore they stand in the middle and cannot vote in either direction.
This is the particular order that issues will be discussed. Delegates impact the agenda by suggesting topics for the agenda through motions.

This is a list that shows and determines the order that delegates will speak in. When a chair calls for new speakers, delegates may raise their placard to show that they want to be added. Alternatively, delegates can pass a note to the chair asking to be added to the speakers list as long as it is at an appropriate time.
A special ability possessed by the 5 permanent members of the security council (china, France, Russia, UK, and the USA). This ability allows them to immediately prevent a draft resolution from passing even if over 50% of the council votes for the resolution. This ability is only allowed in the security council.

Signatories are people who will sign an amendment or draft resolution and are saying that a resolution or amendment is interesting and significant enough to be submitted to chair. Sometimes states will sign because they are willing to debate the amendment/resolution but are not in support.
